Traditional Upholstery

Traditional Upholstery is the art of restoring furniture using time-honoured techniques passed down through generations. Built on craftsmanship and care, it involves hand-stitched springs, natural materials like horsehair and hessian, and a deep respect for the original structure of each piece. The result is not just a beautiful restoration — it's a celebration of heritage, quality, and longevity.

Modern Upholstery is generally for furniture post 1950s and uses materials such as foam, elastic webbing and serpentine springs. We look at how the piece has been constructed and use modern techniques to recreate the structure or to make a bespoke item from scratch.

Recovering Furniture

Some furniture is in good condition but needs updating with new fabric and trimmings. We have a huge library of fabric books and samples that you can use to find the perfect combination. Some people have a clear vision, and others need more guidance, but we believe that with true collaboration we can find a fabric that you will love for years to come.

We make curtains that combine function with style. Interlined for warmth or blackout for bedrooms, choose a heading to reflect the vision for the room. From the classic pencil pleat for a neat, tailored appearance, to the more relaxed eyelet style for a modern, effortless feel, there are various options to suit every space. Box pleats offer a formal, structured look, while ruffled headings add a softer, more romantic touch.
